Since my laptop went kaput again, it will be another couple days before we can post the Faith Cards. So, I thought I’d give you a little window into our world and tell you a little more about Jordyn, by the things she says. I am sure everyone thinks their kid is funny…
Said between the ages 5 and 6:
Jordyn: Mama, I don’t feel so good!
Mom: What do you feel like?
Jordyn: Well, I feel like a lime and a banana!
“Would you like to blow your nose at someone? Or in a tissue?” – playing the “Would You Rather” game.
“Austin, stop pulling my hair. Girls don’t like that!”
“If I can have Jesus in my heart, why can’t I have a baby in my tummy?”
Our son was colciky for 4 months and would scream for up to 16 hours a day except to eat. Around Christmas time, Jordyn said, “Austin, you need to be more like Jesus, no crying he made.” (She was learning Away in a Manger for school.)
Song: I know the King personally
Jordyn: I know the King and Princess Lea
Song: Away in a manger no crib for a bed
Jordyn: Away in a manger, no grumps in his bed
Jordyn making up and singing the following song: Sometimes baby’s come out of our bottom’s and it hurts really bad. Sometimes mama’s scream. But that’s okay because babies are really cute.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romance 3:23
Hopefully the Faith Cards will be up on Wed, but, in the meantime, you can check out our October Fundraisers here. There are some great businesses involved giving proceeds from their monthly sales/FLAC party sales. This would be a GREAT way to start your Christmas shopping!
